Alfredo Velazco, natural from Peru, passed away peacefully at age 80, holding his wife and daughters' hands at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester,MA on Saturday April 30th 2022.

He graduated as an accountant from Universidad Catolica del Peru and he was a successful banker during his professional life. Very well loved by his family, friends, nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as a fine gentleman, good man and very generous. An example of endurance and perseverance, hard worker, always tought by example. "Thank you for having been so good to me, I love you" said his wife Rosa as He was being held by God and crossing his portal.


He is survived by his wife Rosa Cobena Velazco RN. (born in Peru), from Framingham, his sister Martha Velazco from Lima Peru, his 2 daughters - Dr. Rocio Nordfeldt and son in law John Nordfeldt from Framingham; and daughter Ing. Janette Velazco from Cambridge - his grandkids Patrick and Adriana Nordfeldt, Franco and Adriana de la Jara, Stephanie Vaccari and his nieces that He loved like daughters: Aymee Brock, Milagros Brock and Flor Varillas from Peru; Leyla Brock from Fairfax, VA; Gloria Sanchez and his nephews: Johnny Varillas and Eduardo Tan from Peru.

Family and friends will honor and remember Alfredo's life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Wednesday, May 4th from 3-8PM. Interment will be private.

Alfredo Velazco, natural de Perú, falleció en paz a los 80 años, de la mano de su esposa e hijas en el Hospital UMASS Memorial de Worcester, Massachusetts, el sábado 30 de Abril del 2022.

Se graduó como Contador en la Universidad Católica del Perú y fue un exitoso banquero durante su vida profesional. Muy querido por su familia, amigos, sobrinas y sobrinos. Será recordado como un fino caballero, my buen hombre, siempre correcto y muy generoso. Un ejemplo de resiliencia y perseverancia, trabajador, un hombre sabio siempre enseñado con el ejemplo. “Gracias por haber sido tan bueno conmigo, te amo” dijo su esposa Rosa cogiendo su mano, mientras era sostenido por Dios y cruzaba su portal.

Le sobreviven su esposa la enfermera Rosa Cobena Velazco nacida en Peru,que vive en Framingham, su hermana Martha Velazco de Lima Perú, sus 2 hijas - la Dra. Rocio Nordfeldt y su yerno John Nordfeldt de Framingham; su hija Ing. Janette Velazco de Cambridge - sus nietos Patrick y Adriana Nordfeldt, Franco y Adriana de la Jara, Stephanie Vaccari y sus sobrinas a las que amaba como hijas: Aymee Brock, Milagros Brock y Flor Varillas de Perú; Leyla Brock de Fairfax, Virginia; Gloria Sanchez y sus sobrinos: Johnny Varillas y Eduardo Tan de Perú.

La familia y los amigos honrarán y recordarán la vida de Alfredo reuniéndose para las horas de visita en McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham el miércoles 4 de mayo de 3 a 8 p. m. El entierro será privado.
